A true piece of Langhe history in a glass — this Dolcetto is the wine locals reach for again and again, easygoing and endlessly drinkable alongside the dishes it was born to accompany.
Grown in Treiso on grey marl and sandy soils with a south-westerly exposure, the grapes are vinified on their skins and fermented in steel to preserve all that bright, fruit-forward character. What you get is a wine with a beautiful ruby color with purplish highlights, and a bouquet that's intense, fruity, and just a touch sophisticated.
On the palate, it's dry with good body — smooth, balanced, lightly tannic, and pleasantly persistent through the finish. Pour it alongside antipasti, cured meats, or a plate of pasta, and let it do what it does best.
