Join us for a special free Saturday Oct. 17th Wine Tasting from Noon to 5 PM as we welcome John Carrabus, with a new distributor to Maryland with new wines to the area and to us. So far we have loved all the wines John has brought us to taste and we have picked out 4 we think you will enjoy as well. 

The Wines John will be offering for tasting are:

• 2024 Cincinatto Bellone Castore from the Lazio region, a 100% Bellone native grape organic and delicious. "The wine has a luscious texture and juicy acidity...and delightful honeyed, citrus, and tropical fruit aromas and flavors" (Ian d’Agata,
  Native Wine Grapes of Italy). It is a great value too!
  
  
• 2023 Borgo Savaian 'Aransat' Orange Wine, organically farmed blend of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc from the Collio are of the Friuli-Venezia-Giula region, know for orange wines. If you have never tried an orange wine, be sure to stop and try this one! 
  
  
• 2022 FUSO + Federico Russo 'TEH' Rosso Piemonte, a blend of Barbera (60%), Freisa, Grignolino and Bonarda (percentage changes per vintage), organically grown in the in Maretto municipality in the far west of the Monferrato Astigiano wine area. A palpable tension on the mid-palate – between Barbera’s vertical acidity and Freisa and Grignolino’s grippy tannins, reminiscent of the Italian saying semplice ma non banalé: ‘simple but not boring’. Fun and delicious wine to try! 
  
  
• 2024 Casanuova della Cerbaie Rosso di Montalcino, for lovers of Tuscan wines, you will enjoy this, strong and intense on the palate, full bodied, enveloping tannins and great balance between acidity and alcohol content, easy drinking, long fruity finish.
